Frequently asked questions
- Is AgentX legal advice?
- No. AgentX provides educational information and software tools. It is not a law firm, does not form an attorney–client relationship, and is not a substitute for a qualified sports attorney or certified agent in your jurisdiction.
- What leagues and sports does AgentX support?
- AgentX is built for professional leagues, college athletes, and NIL scenarios across major North American sports—football, basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, and more—plus endorsement-style agreements.
- Do I still need an agent?
- Many athletes use AgentX alongside their representative: you get faster clarity on the document, and your agent focuses time on negotiation strategy. Some athletes also use AgentX before hiring representation, to know which questions to ask.
- Will my contract data stay private?
- Treat any online tool with care: use your real account, avoid sharing copies in public channels, and review our product and hosting disclosures as published in the application. For the most sensitive situations, consult a professional who can review under explicit confidentiality rules.
- How is AgentX different from a generic AI chatbot?
- The product is structured around sports contracts—extraction of key terms, sport-aware commentary, red-flag patterns, and counter-proposal framing—rather than open-ended chat alone.
- What is the AgentX Foundation?
- The Foundation supports young athletes through mentorship, education, and access in underserved communities. You can donate or learn more on the Foundation page.
